Fire marks the beginning of Man's intervention in Nature and the development of Humanity. On Rua dos Caldeireiros, Chama, the restaurant name makes that analogy, a space for the destruction and creation through fire into matter sustainably. The owners built with their own hands the entire restaurant, predominantly with recycled materials, like chairs and the ceiling, for example. Food is all cooked in a firewood oven, which warms and recalls our memories.
There is no menu, as it consists of the food baskets provided by local producers daily, based on seasonality and surplus. This social responsibility combined with gastronomic creativity allows the creation of a menu that dynamically consists of Portuguese cuisine, world flavours, and earth cycles. The average price is €25/ 2 pax.
Open from Monday to Saturday from 6 pm to midnight. Reservations accepted.
