Casa da Guitarra is a musical instrument store located in Porto downtown, especially dedicated to traditional music string instruments. This project was conceived in 2012 by Alfredo Teixeira, with the intention of creating a space where to promote the construction and dissemination of these traditional Portuguese instruments.
In addition to the musical instruments store, it also promotes concerts, exhibitions, music classes and workshops. From Monday to Saturday, at 6pm it is possible to attend traditional fado concerts, with a duration of approximately 60 minutes.
