Salta O Muro is a restaurant in Matosinhos dedicated to traditional Portuguese cuisine, where the fish is "King".
Open in an old tavern since the 1980s, in early 1990 it was renamed Salta O Muro due to the fact that there was a wall in the back of the restaurant that the sailors used to jump to go there to eat.
With a rustic and traditional decoration, this restaurant bets on a family atmosphere with an informal, professional and friendly service, not accepting reservations. The regional gastronomy, especially fish dishes, is to make mouthwatering, always maintaining the objective of guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
The menu is prepared using the fresh fish of the day. At lunch, some of their specialties are fried Cuttlefish (on Wednesdays), Octopus Rice in the oven with Fillets of the same (on Friday), Fish Stew (on Saturday), Sardines and fried or grilled fish, making it have a unique offer, always accompanied by a good typical portuguese wine.
